Chanukiya/Candleholders - Figures
Made from saguaro branches, ribs and roots these carvings were shaped into various items including Chanukiyas, figurines, and sculpture. The saguaro is a cactus that is native to Tucson, AZ. These carvings were made from aged saguaro that died and dried out in the sun. The saguaro materials were shelacked to preserve the wood and then engravings and metalwork were added to finish the pieces.
